Maria was quite a popular gal. We had several visitors during our hospital stay. The first visitor was Lee, a best friend from growing up, who happens to live in Valparaiso. She came on Friday that Maria was born, unfortunately we didn't get any photos. Oops!
Saturday we were feeling much more rested and had several visitors. Mindy, one of my best friends, called to say she was coming and bringing some surprise guests with her. In the meantime, Larry's parents both made the trip up to meet their first granddaughter. Unfortunately we don't have any of those photos either, we'll have to acquire them.
Mindy arrived and with her came my mom, who had told me she had to work, and also Katie and Sally Bork. I babysat for Katie many, many summers so she is like a sister to me. Everyone was excited to meet Maria.
