You've been good to us.  We'll miss you and your beautiful views, the lovely breezes off the lake, the parks we enjoyed, walking and biking around, the excellent restaurants, and the friendly people.

It's Larry birthday, so we had a fun day spoiling him with yummy birthday food.  Here is the delicious lemon cake I made.

pumpkin pickin'

We were all able to go with Maria's preschool class to the pumpkin patch today.  Besides taking a hay ride out to the patch to get her pumpkin, she was able to do a straw maze, play in the corn box, take a train ride, and go down a tube slide.  Maria's favorite part was "in the maze".  She spent prob ably 15 minutes, and it was only a small little one.  She said she liked it because, "she had to find someone, and the teachers were sneaky!"  Anna really liked the corn box, so daddy spent quite a bit of time sitting there!
