Well, we certainly were glad that the girls decided to sleep in this morning, as Larry had a 10 pm service to perform and a late night call to a women very sick(who passed away this morning) so we didn't hit the hay till around 1am. We rolled out of bed at 9, as Maria came in our room to ask if Santa had come. She was able to see for herself shortly after as we went downstairs to see the treat she left Santa was gone and the tree was full of presents. We finished putting our pieces on the Jesse tree and then Maria played with several unwrapped items and opened her stocking while we got breakfast ready, yummy cinnamon rolls and some fruit. When Anna finally decided to wake up around 9:30 the fun really got started. And after the gift wrap slaughter, the favorite gift is the fisher price flash light that changes color...that was purchased at the thrift store for all of $1...Maria is an easy to please girl.
Anna wanted to read The Night Before Christmas.
Santa has been here!
Maria was Anna's helper for unwrapping.
oooooo...
What is it?
what? a present for me?
look at that action...
"the ladder game"
yep, it's Christmas!
Whoever picked out this toy has good taste. (Maria did)
Just a few more
What did you get daddy?
thanks for helping Anna
We hope you had a blessed Christmas holiday and that your next year is one that blesses your socks off.
We have plenty to praise God for; the best gift came wrapped in swaddling cloths lying in a manger...a simple gift that means so much!
